Your early paid enrolment is appreciated to help meet minimum numbers for a class to go ahead and to ensure we can give adequate notice to parents and tutors if a class needs to be cancelled.
Materials are supplied for all children's classes. Minimum 6 students unless otherwise stated.
LUNCHTIMES: Children staying all day are supervised at lunchtimes (12pm - 1pm) by Lake House staff members or volunteers. Please make sure children bring a packed lunch and water bottle. No highly-sugared drinks or lollies please. In summer, sunscreen and a hat is a must.
NOTE for Ceramic classes: All artworks are fired in the kiln, dip-glazed by the tutor, then re-fired. Ceramic artworks from the January school holiday program will be ready for pickup approximately a month after the holidays have finished unless otherwise notified. All pickups must be accompanied with a visual record. Works cannot be held any longer than this due to storage constraints.
This workshop will focus on what makes a good story and what techniques we can use to make a story interesting to listen to and watch. This will involve some character and voice work, some physical movement work, building environments and various dramatic ways to engage an audience and tell a story.
