"Vital to our ongoing support for people in our communities, is being able to respond when our local people need help. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine is devastating for its peoples and has a real impact on our people here, too. Some of our future members may well be Ukranian people fleeing the current conflict. In any case, when our member Maria brought this fundraiser opportunity to us a short time ago, we knew it was incumbent on us to help in any way we could.
