Term Classes - Kids and Teens

Our Kids and Teenagers programme offers a varied range of classes with different tutors and mediums for ages 5-18 years. All materials are provided.

To book and pay on line, please ensure that you have registered your details. Enrolments must be completed on line. If you do not wish to pay online, you can pay in person or over the phone. Enrolment alone does not guarantee a space in the class unless payment has been made.

 Please note that a $10 administration fee will be charged if you would like a staff member to do the enrolment for you.

Making Your Mark with Jess Ellis 6-12yrs

Play with mark making using multiple materials - pencil, charcoal, pastels, ink, stamps, acrylic paints and marker pens. 

While learning objective techniques and focusing on form, shape and colour, enjoy fun filled work, looking at a variety of fruit and vegetables and finishing with a colourful, abstract and energetic art work.

Learn to breathe the illusion of life into your favourite cartoon creations. Give them the gestures and expressions that make you believe they have personality, think and have feelings. Classes will take you through thstep by step process of character design and focus on the drawing fundamentals of shape, construction and silhouette.

Virtual Reality Club with Peter Larsen

Throughout the term, the club will focus on various virtual reality activities – primarily using Tilt Brush on our HTC Vive equipment. We also use a variety of headsets for experiential aspects of VR. By using 360 cameras and Tilt Brush along with a suite of other software, we are able to create a variety of environments that mix both the real world and the virtual world. The objective of the club is to engage the creativity of the participants using emerging technology.

Children can freely explore their creative ideas in Make Room for Creative Kids . A diverse range of materials are readily available for investigation.
