Grae Burton

   Grae Burton has been Kaiwhakahaere (Operations Manager) and Curator for Lake House Arts since 2017.  As visual / performing artist, screen writer , filmmaker, producer and curator it no surprise that all aspects of film theatre and art have been a large part of his life .  With over a 160 artworks Wallace Arts Trust Permanent Collection and extensive experience curating and installing thousands of artworks across NZ. Nina Rycroft

Nina Rycroft has been illustrating picture books since her first picture book was awarded the CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia) Notable Book in 2000. Since then, she's had more than a dozen picture books published worldwide, including award-winning picture book and stage production ‘Boom Bah!’ (Phil Cummings), 'No More Kisses' (Margaret Wild), ‘Good Dog Hank’ (Jackie French) and ‘ Pooka ’ (Carol  Chattaway , YABBA Award Winner, 2013).   LEARN ONLINE NOW WITH NINA

Emil McAvoy

  A Graduate of the Elam School of Fine Arts, Emil's approach focuses on core professional skills in educating, assisting and mentoring professionals to better respond to the dynamic, shifting arts environment. An experienced mentor within the Brown School of Art, Artists Alliance and consulting for a pilot programme for the Big Idea, Emil brings valuable expertise and support for those who would like traction, momentum and leverage in their art careers.   Also a well known NZ art writer and cultural commentator, Emils art pactice works across a range of  media on a project- led basis including collaborating with art galleries and organisations, curated tour programmes and local galleries for Artweek.     LEARN ONLINE NOW WITH EMIL

Liz Constable

With a love for books, art and teaching Liz is renowned for taking paper and turning into something magical.  Orginally from Manchester, England and moving to New Zealand in her 20s, Liz has turned a passion for creating handmade books into a craft she can share with everyone. Her creative and diy inspired use of coffee to add colour and texture to paper, to cut outs and lettering to give detail are the features which  give her bohemian journals, envelopes and stitch books such a delighful response. Paper craft has lead to her publishing her first book in 2015 and more recently collaborating with other creative artists on a recent  successful DIY project book.   LEARN ONLINE NOW WITH LIZ 

Laura Donkers

As a freelance eco-social multi media artist, Laura's  work is influneced in the concept of co-creativity, working interactively with communities and environments to have positive environment outcome behaviours. Her images capture the movement of light, depict a sense of place and the connections we as humans have as part of nature Laura moved to New Zealand from Scotland with her husband and feels most at home surrounded by the woodlands and forests where she loves exploring and making art. Since moving here Laura's art and techniques have been increasingly inspired by the native trees, the extraordinatory ecology and changing and moody environments.    LEARN ONLINE NOW WITH LAURA
