Venue Hire

If you are looking for that special venue to hold your meetings, training, small conference or product launch we invite to consider Lake House Arts Centre.  Impress your clients, indulge your staff, friends and co-workers, and experience the unique setting of our stunning heritage buildings and grounds.  Built entirely of heart kauri in the late 1800s, and relocated to Barry’s Point Reserve in 1996 from Takapuna Beach, our vibrant arts centre has been gracefully restored.  The stunning gardens, free parking, conveniences, and accessibility to Auckland City makes Lake House Arts Centre an ideal venue for hire.

Lake House grounds comprise six different spaces including the delightful onsite Café which can be hired after hours, and can cater for morning/afternoon tea and lunch.   The Lake House grounds are also available for hire and make the loveliest setting for outdoor functions and activities. Equipment and extra's available for hire (all prices are GST exclusive):

  • Portable Projector screen
  • Whiteboard
  • Hot-water urn (5 litre) - free of charge
  • Mugs + tea/coffee/sugar/milk - $2 per person
  • Digital Projector - $80/day or $20/hour
  • Gazebo’s/Easy-ups: $50 per day (Easy-up 3m X 3m with side panels)
  • Wine glasses: $10 per tray (36) 

 

HR 4

A sunny, versatile, all-purpose function room, ideal for larger groups. Can be used for meetings, conferences, art, craft, dance and movement classes. Capacity is up to 30 people as a classroom or up to 60 for meetings or conferences. Contains kitchen essentials, sink, stools, ceiling heaters, wall mounted tables (and trestles for art activitys) Chairs also available. Dimensions: 5.4m x 10.5m. (This studio is located in the separate barrack building behind the main house) .

LEVEL 2: $15+GST per hour, total capacity 11 people.
$30+gst per hour/$25+gst for not for profits

HR 3 

 A smaller studio. Used primarily for clay and mosaic classes. Perfect for 'messy' art classes with strong benches and pottery wheels. Capacity up to 20 people. Contains ceiling heaters and 'messy' sinks. No kitchen facilities (This studio is located in the separate barrack building behind the main house).

LEVEL 2: $15+GST per hour, total capacity 11 people.
$30+gst per hour/$25+gst for not for profits

Tindall Room

An all-purpose function room suitable for meetings, presentations, conferences or private lunches.  The Tindall room can be accessed from the front verandah as well as inside corridor. Capacity is 20 people around tables or up to 35 theatre style. Contains a Heatpump/air conditioning unit, wall mounted white board and black-out blinds. Tea and coffee making facilities extra. Dimensions: 4m x 6.6m.

LEVEL 2: $15+GST per hour, total capacity 7 people.
$30+gst per hour/$25+gst for not for profits
